The Gift of Life Garden at Delaware Park
ConnectLife’s Gift of Life Garden honors organ, eye, and tissue donors and provides a gathering place for families and recipients in the Western New York area. We recognize how important remembrance of loved ones is to our community and are hoping you can help make the Gift of Life Garden a lasting monument for all those who have saved and enhanced lives.
Thoughts from Joe Lee, brother of organ donor, James Lee:
For me, The Gift of Life Garden is a way to have life find a way. My brother was far from a gardener but his affinity for nature was always there. Jim loved driving through the hills of the Southern Tier especially when the leaves changed.
The Gift of Life Garden ceremony this October was a celebration of life and family. Seeing all the people that were brought together to celebrate those we have lost was awe inspiring!
Knowing that the garden is available to the families of organ and tissue donors is a powerful gift to everyone who has lost someone they love. Watching the garden bloom each year will be a great rebirth for every family to witness.
When you give to this year's annual appeal, you give the gift that keeps on growing. Please consider donating this year! Your investment into the Garden will help you and others enjoy this space for years to come.
